Traben-Trarbach. Art Nouveau buildings characterise the river front of the town, which prospered on the wine trade
at the end of the 19th century. The Trarbach Bridge Gate of 1898, a romantic pastiche of the great age of castle building,
also has elements of Art Nouveau.
